Brief description
Chromium plated steel and polyamide, Italy, Milan, made by Alessi spa, designed by Alessandro Mendini.
Physical description
Double lever corkscrew with a pointed centre worm, coated with Teflon and housed within a green polyamide barrel flared in imitation of a woman's skirt. The two levers chromed and slightly concave; the chromed shaft attached to the worm is raised or lowered by a ratchet mechanism, the handle oval pierced by three holes, surmounted by a crescent to emulate a female face.
