Physical description

Mounted in an album containing drawings (49) mounted on 42 sheets, the other sheets (13) blank, or with inscriptions only. Most are Turkish and Tunisian subjects, including views of Constantinople, Tunis and Carthage, and figures in local costumes.

Historical context note

It is possible that not all the drawings are by C. Inglefield: One of the Rapids of the Bosphorus (SD.523:14) appears to show her with her husband S.H.S. Inglefield and their son Loftus. Another (SD.523:29) is signed A.A.H. Inglefield. See Searight Archive.
