This chair dates from the end of the Utility period and demonstrates awareness of the flowing lines of much contemporary continental furniture, particularly Scandinavian and Italian. It outlasted the Utility scheme, when its manufacture was taken over by E.E.Kahn and Co. Ltd., of Great Yarmouth. [1992]
