Object history | Made using industrial means but hand finished, and intended by the designer as an "audio sculpture". The technology has been superceded by smaller and cheaper components but it is used here for aesthetic ends. To date only 12 sets have been made. Acquired for display in the"Technology as an Aesthetic" area of the Twentieth Century Gallery 1992. |
