The design represents houses clustered beneath a high crag (surmounted by buildings) with trees in the foreground, a mountain range in the background, and sky with clouds. Woods in several shades of brown are used, together with green (of different grains) and a portion stained black. The frame is of carved wooden mouldings in two bands.
