Bracelet
ca. 1890 (made)
Artist/Maker | |
Place of origin |
The design of this bracelet combines geometry, one of the recurrent inspirations for jewellery, with a typically nineteenth-century glance back to the past. The substantial areas of gold and the sapphires, polished as cabochons, give the bracelet a medieval air, almost as if the bracelet were a simple crown.
