Table Designed and made by Marian Speyer (British, born 1900) Sycamore 1933 In 1932 Speyer spent three months in Germany and visited the Bauhaus at Dessau. On her return to London she began a career as an interior decorator and writer on aspects of decoration and design. In 1934 she exhibited furniture alongside modernists including Wells Coates and Raymond McGrath.(1989-2006)
