L'harmonie du coloris demonstrates Le Blon's invention of a three-colour printing process which was a predecessor to chromolithography. It was published around 1725, and the 'Monthly Catalogue' of May 1725 states that this book could be had "of W. and J. Innys ... and at the author's lodgings at the Dial and Bible in the Strand".
