According to Rodney Searight: - `Bt Bonhams, Aug, 4th 1976, £5 the pair [SD.392 & 393] (+ a so-called 'Japanese' watercolour)'.

Historical context note

The artist described his visit to Amol in May 1822 in his Travels and Adventures in the Persian Provinces..., 1826.
