The dress is by couturier Madeleine Vionnet and the wheelbarrow by Oscar Dominguez, a Surrealist artist. The wheelbarrow is padded with sumptuous satin as if it were a sofa, an example of the Surrealist interest in combining the mundane with the unexpected.
