For each of these books, Gill collected and organised various groups of objects. He gathered toilet paper, betting slips and photographic negatives of newlyweds embracing. When viewed together, these pictures emphasise the similarities and differences within each category. Books are an integral part of Gill’s practice. He uses them to present his creative engagement with the everyday.
