Autochrome depicting an archway in a city border wall. In front of the archway are various people mainly wearing farmers hats and the trunk of a tree is visible on the right of the image. Two glass plates sandwiched together to protect the autochrome emulsion layer, taped at the edges. There is a small blemish to the emulsion layer in the top left of the plate but this appears stable.
