GUIDE BOOK TO STRAWBERRY HILL Horace Walpole, A Description of the Villa of Mr Horace Walpole…, 1784 Walpole wrote this guide to Strawberry Hill and is collections to record them for posterity. This edition of 1784, printed by Walpole's own press, was the first illustrated guide to any British building. It is open to show the Tribune, the room in which Walpole kept his most prized objects.
