The feet are of black felt, representing shoe, with brown PVC soles textured to look like leather. The doll's face is of light brown rubber. The Steiff button is affixed to a plastic bracelet on the left wrist.

Micki, Mecki, Macki and Mucki were a family of fictional hedgehogs, the mascots of the German magazine Hör Zu. They became very popular with German children after the Second World War.
