Veneered wood radio made on the baffle board principle, the edges being bent forward at 15 degree angle, forming 'vanes' wider at the top than at the bottom, causing the centre section to be slightly pyramidal and to lean backwards from the vertical. "Rose window" with chamfered edge in centre of wireless round the loudspeaker.

Object history
Purchased by the Circulation Department in 1975, from Stephen Cohn [75/1804]. On entry to the Museum its condition was noted as 'good, slight scratches on edges and face'.
Historical context
In 1949, this model would have retailed for £28 12s 9d.
