Object history
The object was comes to us from Maryse Addison. Maryse received the fabric from her brother, Tony Addison, who worked at the Horrockses Fashions headquarters in Hanover Square in the 1950s.

It was previously on display at the Fashion and Textile Museum, London in the exhibition ' Horrockses Fashion: Off the Peg Style in the ’40s and ’50s' which ran from the 9th July 2010 to the 28th October 2010.
Production
Albeck also designed a version of this fabric with asters instead of roses.
