Victoria Richards is a textile designer-maker originally from Devon. She studied at the West Surrey College of Art and Design in Farnham. After graduating in 1985, she established her first workshop at the Clockwork Studios in London where she concentrated on commissioned work for the fashion industry. She also designs under her own label, producing printed and painted abstract designs for her range of accessories. She is perhaps best known for her ‘Jon Snow’ ties; the Channel 4 newsreader has been a collector of Richards' range of hand painted silk ties for a number of years.
