Doll, carved wood with gesso and paint, inset glass lozenge eyes. Due to small size, probably a doll's house doll or representing a child. Brown silk cap with edging of human hair, lace cap on top. Cloth upper arms, jointed knees. Wearing white silk bodice and skirt overlaid with fine white lawn bodice and separate skirt, trimmed with flounces in same fabric and knots of embroidery silk; petticoats and shift of linen. Silk stockings and leather & silk shoes.
