David Shrigley (born 1968) is best known for his quirky humour embodied in print, photography, drawing and sculpture. His works often incorporate text and take much of their humour from the juxtaposition of this ‘hand-written’ text and the ambiguous imagery. This print was a commission for ‘The Print and the Poem’ series (various artists, co-published by Enitharmon Editions and Jealous Print Studio, and printed at Jealous Print Studio).
