Blue glazed composition scarab, pierced longitudinally to be suspended on a ring or necklace, today mounted to a wooden block with wire running through the suspension loop. The back is simply and shallowly moulded, with no suture or separation between prothorax and elytra, and a stylised head and legs.
The inscription on the reverse, oriented vertically, depicts a Horus falcon holding the royal flail, standing atop the neb basket sign and surmounted by a Sun disk. The whole inscription is surrounded by a single line.
