Each pair of Masaya Kushino's shoes is unique. His 'Bird-witched' collection was inspired by the bird paintings of the Japanese artist Ito Jakuchu (1716-1800). The dyed feathers were arranged to simulate Jakuchu's subtle depiction of plumage. The sculptor Atsushi Nakamura crafted the claw heels.
