Carte-de-visite depicting a portrait of a young woman, wearing a ruffled collar. She is identified in an inscription as Mrs Langtry. This is Lillie Langtry (born Emilie Charlotte Le Breton, 1853-1929), a society beauty who later became an actress and producer. She was also known for her relationships with noblemen, including the Prince of Wales, Prince Louis of Battenberg and the Earl of Shrewsbury.
