Strategy board game themed around the Nazi invasion of Soviet Russia in 1941. The printed card box contains the two halves of the game board, printed with a large map of the Eastern Front. Overlaying the map is a hexagonal grid. There is a printed paper booklet of instructions, two printed pages marked 'Russian Ob Chart', one printed page marked 'German Ob Chart', and a postcard for Avalon Hill's mailing list. There are two bags of printed card playing pieces: one player plays with yellow, the other green. A third bag contains blank pieces, or ones printed with an image of a locomotive.
