Physical description

Stereoscopic daguerreotype of statues and highly decorative architecture on display at the Crystal Palace after it was relocated to Sydenham in 1854, including Donatello's 'David'. The daguerreotype plates are in a black mount with two rectangular arched windows. This is glazed in a passe-partout frame. A Negretti and Zambra label is on the verso of the frame.
