Hand-tinted stereoscopic daguerreotype of a three-quarter length portrait of a seated young woman, resting her right arm on the table next to her. She is holding flowers, and there are also flowers in a vase on the table. The jewellery around her neck and both wrists has been picked out in gold. The daguerreotype plates are in a black mount with two rectangular arched windows. This is glazed in a later passe-partout frame with black tape edging.
