Daguerreotype of an artwork of Queen Victoria receiving the sacrament at her coronation on 28 June 1838. The daguerreotype is of a print, published by Alderman Moon in 1841, made after the painting by Charles Robert Leslie in 1838-39 for Queen Victoria.
The daguerreotype is in a cream card mount and glazed. The verso of the object has several layers of paper stuck down to secure the plate in the mount. The mount and glazing are held together with a black tape edging.
