Man’s breeches of dark green woollen broadcloth. The waistband and legs are cut in 2 pieces, the later are higher and gathered at the back. The breeches have a fall front, a pocket on each side of the front and a watch pocket in the right waistband. The fall front is lined with ivory silk taffeta and the waistbands with linen; the legs are unlined. The breeches are fasten with 2 wool-covered buttons (1 missing) and buttonholes on the waistband, 1 wool-covered button and buttonhole for each pocket and each corner of the fall front. There are 2 lacing holes on each side of the waistbands at centre back. The knee bands and 4 buttons at each knee are embroidered with coloured silk floss, but do not match in design.
