Dolls' house dolls are an essential component of any dolls' house. Usually they represent a family and reflect the inhabitants of the life-sized version of whatever house they are in. A very grand dolls' house will feature the family dressed in their finery surrounded by many servants, cooking, cleaning and waiting upon them. By contrast these inhabitants are simple folk who reflect the reality of home life in Guyana. In all probability, they represent Ruth Boller's parents.
