The interior furniture and accessories for her dolls' house were created by Ruth Bollers, a Guyanese student attending the London College of Furniture in 1992. The colours used to varnish the furniture has been made using non-toxic wood dyes.

Brief description
Furnishing for five rooms of a Guyanese dolls' house made in England by Ruth Bollers in 1992
Physical description
The bathroom set includes a sink, toilet and shower. The sink is machine cut from a block of wood. It has been stained green with the sink and faucet painted silver. The chain flush toilet has a movable lid. The toilet bowl and water tank are stained green. The shower has a silver showerhead and water pipe. The base has a drainage hole and is painted green.

The dining room set includes four wooden chairs and a wooden table. The chairs are machine cut and glued together. They are stained red. The circular table has four legs and is varnished.

The kitchen consists of a sink and a stove. They are both made from wood blocks and have machine carved parts to indicate the sink and hobs. The since has an additional piece of wood indicating the faucet and knob.

The living room set is made up of two simple wooden chairs and one couch. The furniture has been stained blue, There is a multi-coloured woven rug.

The bedroom is located at the front of the house and is the small room with two windows. The room features a wooden bed and mosquito net. The white rocking chair is for the veranda.

Object history
The Guyanese house and furniture was originally part of Faith Eaton's collection. The house is featured in the book Ms. Eaton wrote entitled The Ultimate Dolls House Book. The house was purchased at auction.
