Woman's stomacher made from an earlier embroidery of green silk satin, embroidered in silver filé, spangles and foil and silver-gilt filé with blue glass pastes. It is worked in a design of a double-headed eagle. The stomacher is stiffened and lined with block-printed cotton depicting bramble tendrils and blue/red flowers against a red and white background. The stomacher is edged with beige silk with a white and black border.
