Pair of garters of ivory silk satin tamboured with coloured silk floss silver filé. Each is an elongated oval bearing a different amorous motto on it and trimmed with pleated ivory silk grosgrain ribbon. Each garter is sewn to a 1-3/16-inch (2.8 cm) wide ivory silk ribbon which forms the ties.
