Black toque with deep tucks of black chiffon and net arranged in a turban-style over a wired frame. Decorated at the back with a bow of black net and a mount of clipped black ostrich feathers.

Lined with black satin with a band of black marocain round the bottom inside, At the back is a strip of black velvet through which a thin ribbon is passed to gather in the circumference of the hat.
