Object history
Worn by Talitha Getty. It is not recorded who designed this dress as the label has not survived; however, it was probably a London boutique. Lee Bender at Bus Stop, Mr Freedom, and Biba were all known to use large appliqué motifs on their designs. Lee Bender in particular is known to have produced garments with large strawberry and cherry appliqués.
