Orange gabardine day dress, comprising a flaring tunic with a stand-up collar and long sleeves. The main body is slightly shaped at the waist, constructed from five panels emphasised by decorative top-stitching. There are two slightly shaped panels at the back, one apron-cut panel for the front and two side panels, which reach up to the shoulders and meet at the centre front to give a high yoke. There are two false pocket flaps along the vertical seams of the front panel.
The dress fastens up the back with a zip and three hooks at the collar. It is lined throughout, with the exception of the collar.
