Headdress, part of a costume from Holy Etudes, 1925
Physical description
Gold, crescent shaped, halo. The halo extends into an upright crescent shape at the front, it is supported on a wire frame covered with translucent silk chiffon[?] and stiffened with card. It is also linked with two wide lengths or straps of gold ribbon (one runs across the base of the halo and another across the centre back).
There is evidence of past modification, including a stitched 'tuck' in the neck strap.
