Physical description

Woven brown silk tie with a design of a woman's head, guitar or mandolin, and a book by Picasso in shades of white and brown. The objects occupy a diagonal section to appear below the knot. Half of the design appears again upside-down on the underneath section. Constructed in the usual way of three pieces cut on the cross. Machine-stitched edges and hand-stitched centre seam. Lined with canvas.
