Pollination

Tapestry
circa 1963
Artist/Maker

Having originally trained in fine art, Tadek Beutlich turned to tapestry design and production after visiting an exhibition of French tapestries at the V&A. He valued the opportunity that textiles offered to produce hangings of luxury, orginality and beauty. Often inspired by nature, he brought abstract designs into his weaving, believing that these forms were well suited to the medium and production of tapestry.
