Design
December 1986 (made)
Artist/Maker
Place of origin

Concept design drawing for packaging for a Wind in the Willows themed plaster moulding kit. It consists of a paper and card folder containing a three-part design and a mock-up of the final box lid. The design consists of a watercolour illustration showing on the left Rat and Mr. Toad, and on the right Mr. Badger and Mole. All are standing in a verdant setting. This is overlaid with a transparent plastic sheet, with printed type, to show where the wording would go on the box lid. There is also a thin paper sheet also with text, drawn in green and black felt tip. Sellotaped to this is a photographic negative showing the mould, and painted and unpainted figures of Mr. Toad. There is also a mock-up of the box lid, illustrated in watercolour.
