Object history
Worn by Talitha Getty and donated by Sir Paul Getty via Cecil Beaton. The Paul Getty donation is not referenced in the catalogue of Cecil Beaton's collection. While Celia Birtwell did design fabrics for Ossie Clark, it is debatable whether these fabrics are hers. The star-scattered yoke and cuffs are likely to be Birtwell; the main body may also be Birtwell, or by another fabric designer.
