Pilgrim Pumps
Some of the most sought after shoes of the mid 20th century were created by Roger Vivier. One of his best-sellers was the pilgrim buckle shoe, popularised by Catherine Deneuve in the 1967 film Belle de Jour. The buckle was inspired by the footwear of 17th-century puritans, and became the most imitated feature of
the 1960s. These exclusive satin diamanté buckle shoes were made to measure for the wearer.
