Accordion-folding peepshow within a cartonnage box and with a rolling panorama background. Expands to approximately 66 cm.
3 cut-out panels. Hand-coloured lithographs. Cartonnage and two wooden winders to rotate the panorama.
Peepshow of the Garden of Eden.
Front of cartonnage box: Despiction of God, flanked by angels. Puncturing God's robes is a peephole with card tag to draw up a blue coloured glass filter. Along the left, right and bottom edges of the box are vignettes of the Temptation and Expolision of Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden.
Panel 1: a crocodile, boar, goat and a hedgehog.
Panel 2: a beaver, leopard, wolf, plus Eve and Adam and the Tree of Knowledge.
Panel 3: a panoramic landscape.
