Artist/Maker
Place of origin

A man’s half-circular cloak made of pale blue silk (now faded), lined with yellow silk taffeta. It is embroidered with yellow silk floss and twist in a design of abstract floral sprigs and slashed between the motifs through both layers. There is a border down each front and along the hem of applied woven lace [braid] of yellow silk with embroidered.

The cloak has been altered, possibly in the process of recycling. The collar has been removed; there was probably another lining, which has been removed.
