Peter the Great was a new and original play that formed part of Henry Irving's Actor-Management of the Lyceum Theatre. The production included Irving as Peter the Great, with Ellen Terry as Catherine, Ethel Barrymore as Euphrosyne, Robert Taber as Alexis and Norman Forbes as Colonel Bauer.
