The production of Romeo and Juliet was part of the season under the direction of Henry E. Abbey. In this production, William Terriss normally played Romeo alongside Mary Anderson as Juliet, as part of the pair's many performances alongside each other. Other characters include Fanny Stirling as Nurse, Herbert Standing as Mercutio and Mrs Charles Calvert as Lady Capulet.

One side shows a full length portrait shows Terriss as Mercutio, wearing a black embroidered tunic, with a velvet cloak attached to his shoulders. He is wearing dark coloured tights and is leaning with left hand against a wall. There is a painted backdrop included a lake and house in the distance.

The reverse shows Mary Anderson as Juliet, wearing a white embroidered dress with a white cap and holding a white mask in her left hand. She is sitting facing forwards, with her head in profile.
