The print shows Ellen Terry as Beatrice and Henry Irving as Benedick. Terrry is wearing a yellow dress with a white collar, puffed sleeves and a white belt tied in the middle and hanging downwards. She has her hair tied up and is reaching with her left hand to hold Irving's. Irving has brown hair and a moustache. He is wearing a light blue tunic and tights with a yellow overtunic that has a white lining and trimming. He has brown gloves and is holding Terry's hand with his left hand. There is a sword behind his back, and he has his head turned towards Terry.
