Object history
Another of the complete outfits worn by Mr Aubrey Esson-Scott. When this was displayed as part of the Cecil Beaton collection, it had an evening pocket-watch in chrome & black leather with seed pearl & chrome chain; this does not appear to have been accessioned.

Historical significance: This is another example of Aubrey Esson-Scott's donation of a number of complete outfits with accessories, from shoes to shirts and ties, and associated accessories, from his golden period in the early 30s, when he was the world punting champion.
