Object history
Given by Mr Freedom to the Cecil Beaton Collection, 1972, along with numerous other garments

A black and orange version of the jacket to this suit is worn by the actor Katy Manning (who played Jo Grant in BBC TV series "Doctor Who", 1971-1974) in publicity shots taken about 1971. This jacket would have been laced up the front with an outsize shoelace in red to match the applique patches.
