Place of origin |
Barry Martin was a leading figure in the Kinetic Art movement of the 1960s and '70s. Since that time he has developed an idiosyncratic visual vocabulary largely based on geometric forms. In this work the intricate shapes and bright colours of the forms seem to imply their movement across the black and white game-board background.
