Physical description

Tau staff (the head wanting). Wood, in three sections screwed together, foliated silver-gilt bands at the joints), the whole surface covered by an inlay of silver in a pattern of small, leafy stems in ogee bordered compartments; baluster shaped foot-piece of jade.
