Photographic print of a scene from a production of Hamlet, at the Kingsway Theatre, August 25th 1925. The landscape images shows a fencing scene taking place in a large hall with two long windows, a chandelier and dark patterned wallpaper. The two fencers are Hamlet and Laertes, they are in modern dress standing at each side of the image pointing their swords towards each other. Behind them is an audience of sixteen male and female spectators, standing on raised steps behind the fight.
